Gutach Valley pony ranch
A truly stunning piece that was awarded the official Clock of the year for 2007 by the Association of Black Forest Clocks, (VdS).
The central moving element of the clock is the Farmer's wife in traditional Black Forest costume who lifts her hand and pulls on the rope activating the Bell in the Bell Tower. In the Black Forest a ringing Bell was considered to be an alarm.
The theme for this clock is the Pony Ranch where visitors can come and ride. Other decoration includes a wayside cross, a well and a Deer hidden in the trees. There are Dormer style windows in the hand laid shingle tiled roof and a host of other Farm yard objects. All the figurines are hand painted including the platform of dancers who turn as the music plays. The case is finished in antique Walnut. The clock has an 8 day rack-strike movement with a Cuckoo call on the half and full hour and a high quality Swiis (Reuge) twin melody.
This is a premium model with a 5 year warranty, long life components, Nikel plated chime spring, antique style chains and a wooden knob for the manual night off.
