Black Forest Farmhouse Cuckoo clock with Beer Drinkers

This is a unique piece that features a couple of beer drinkers enjoying a pint in a chalet with its own private chapel.

There are three moving elements, the drinkers, the platform of dancers and the wife looking over from the balcony. Other decoration includes, fir trees, a cow in a pen, a cat, water trough, barrow of logs, a stump and axe, a St Bernard Dog and a selection of barrels and milk churns, all below a hand spliced tiled roof.

A truly stunning piece, finished in antique Walnut. The high quality Swiss (Reuge) music plays a twin melody that alternates between Edelweiss and Happy Wanderer, and a manual night shut off.
