This is the famous Bahnhaeusle, or Station clock, designed as a reproduction of the original 1885 train station clock. This was commissioned in honour of the Black Forest Railway Line workers who strived to complete the rail line through the Black Forest mountains in the 19th Century. The Cuckoo clock was finished in Oak with a shaded patina. 8 day rack-strike movement with a cuckoo call on the half and full hour. Manual night shut-off.
